Amey, a UK-based public services provider, has been awarded a new contract to provide a range of facilities management services at the new head office of The UK Hydrographic Office (UKHO).
The UK Hydrographic Office (UKHO), an executive agency sponsored by the Ministry of Defence, collects and supplies hydrographic and geospatial data for the Royal Navy and merchant shipping, to protect lives at sea.
Effective 1st January 2019, the initial three-year, £1.3m per annum contract will see Amey deliver facilities management services for UKHO. This includes a focused maintenance approach, providing planned and reactive maintenance, helpdesk services, energy and asset management.
Amey has extensive experience delivering facilities management services within secure environments to the Ministry of Defence and their executive agency. This new contract builds on Amey’s defence portfolio which includes the Ministry of Defence Whitehall headquarters in London.
