Servest Group’s contract with the Foreign and Commonwealth Office (FCO) has been extended for a further year, from 2019-2020, following three years of successful service delivery.
With headquarters in King Charles Street, London, the FCO is the ministerial department responsible for national security and promoting sustainable global growth. Supported by 10 agencies and public bodies, the FCO promotes the United Kingdom's interests overseas, supporting British citizens and businesses around the globe.
Since securing the contact in 2015, Servest’s team of more than 130 core members has provided manned guarding services and ad hoc support for numerous events across the FCO’s six high profile properties in both London and Milton Keynes.
Owing to their fresh approach and deep-rooted understanding of value, Servest originally won the three-year contract having demonstrated rigid compliance practices and a commitment to continuous improvement throughout the contract term. Having successfully delivered these requirements to date, the FCO has decided to renew the partnership for an additional year.
CJ Green, Servest’s UK CEO, said about the extension: “We’re delighted to continue working with the FCO on this prestigious contract. This extension is a mark of achievement not only for the security division, but also for the Group in general. We’re thrilled to continue looking after one of the most high-profile and secure sites in the country. That the FCO has maintained this level of trust and partnership demonstrates Servest’s capability in this particular area.”
John Kane, FCO contract manager commented: “In light of the excellent partnership Servest has forged with the FCO, and its continued efforts to improve the quality of service delivered, we are thrilled to be able to extend the existing contract until 2020.”
