“With cutting edge headliners and a choice of stage or screen, IWFM Conference 2021 has truly captured the spirit of our twenty-first century times.”
So said IWFM’s Director of Insight and Engagement Chris Moriarty as the Institute released tickets for its third national conference; an Institute first that will combine a physical and a digital experience in a serious nod to the post-pandemic future.
Chris continued: “Whether you’re ready for the city or your comfort zone’s the screen, we’re poised to immerse you in a brilliantly curated programme of razor-sharp insight, sideways humour and practical know-how.
“2020 was a watershed year. Turbulence and uncertainty remain, but there is a clear consensus to build back better. The pandemic experience has fast-forwarded trends and disrupted established norms in a whole raft of areas that touch our profession and our professionalism. It’s time to assess, learn and channel that experience to shape our new stronger future.
“Our headliners this year - comedian and writer Deborah Frances-White, aka The Guilty Feminist, and historian, film-maker and polymath David Olusoga OBE - are true tone-setters for our times, boldly and brilliantly bookending our exciting agenda.”
Themed ‘Emerging stronger’ and in a format that could be seen as a literal manifestation of the hybrid workplace future we’re all anticipating as we emerge from the coronavirus crisis, the event’s aim is to mark the start of a forward focused, positively charged revolution.
In a multi-layered programme, world class speakers on our familiar megatrends, including the future of work, climate action and technology, will be complimented by leading practitioner experts to explore best practice and extract practical takeaways.
Tickets for IWFM Conference 2021 are available today in two types. Attendees in person will enjoy the full conference experience and will see all keynotes live, in the room. They’ll also benefit from topic-based breakout sessions; in addition, they’ll also have the opportunity to be selected for an intimate Q&A with our topic-based speakers throughout the programme. The full experience also includes access to the digital platform, including the opportunity to interact with the whole audience, network, and access recordings of our topic-based speakers to return to at a later date.
Delegates opting for the digital experience will be able to access the Conference from anywhere in the world. They will be able to tune in live to talks from our megatrend keynotes, plus supporting practical sessions. Watching live they will be able to put their questions to speakers and network with other delegates in the virtual conference. All sessions will be recorded and available on catch-up.
IWFM Conference 2021 takes place on Monday 13th September at St Paul’s, London, EC1A 4HD or online.
