Atalian Servest is sponsoring Bury Town Football Club (BTFC), in a move to deliver social value within its local community.
Headquartered in Bury St. Edmunds, the FM service provider has entered into a sponsorship agreement with the club that will see the two organisations work together to support the local community.
In addition to naming rights and advertising at The Atalian Servest - Ram Meadow Stadium, the agreement will see the company provide professional skills development for players through its own learning and development division, Opportunity, providing employment and apprenticeships.
As the first key milestone, Atalian Servest and BTFC will run a careers day, offering CV advice and interview preparation. It will also provide a career gateway for members of the football club who may consider corporate and operational roles, alongside their commitment with BTFC.
Atalian Servest and BTFC will also partner to improve social issues, for example collaborating with Kick It Out, English football’s equality and inclusion organisation, to challenge discrimination, encourage inclusive practices and campaign for positive change in football. They will also participate in and contribute to charity and local events such as ‘United for equality’, by creating a local hub for the community that will provide match-day experiences for locals, investing in the club. The FM services provider has also committed to a corporate give-back for facility upgrades and maintenance.
Russell Ward, Chairman at Bury Town FC, commented “We are so grateful for the interest and support of Atalian Servest. Clubs like ours thrive when backers and sponsors express a wish to partner with us to help develop every aspect of our football community. We hope to grow a long-term relationship with Atalian Servest and welcome their positive influence on our future."
Daniel Dickson, CEO UK & Ireland at Atalian Servest, added: “We are thrilled to be partnering with Bury Town Football Club in this way. What we’re doing together is much more than traditional sponsorship, it is a true partnership that creates social value for both parties. This is a great opportunity for our business to do more work in our local community and allows BTFC to provide their players and staff with further career and development opportunities.”
