BaxterStorey has won a five-year contract at Somerset County Cricket Club.
The deal will see the caterer running both hospitality and catering provisions for club members and those visiting the Cooper Associates County Ground.
Following the announcement, SCCC CEO, Gordon Hollins said: “We are thrilled to announce this new partnership. Catering is all about people and we were very impressed by BaxterStorey’s leadership and their desire to work in true partnership.
“We believe this will be the beginning of an outstanding working relationship as we aim to consistently provide memorable experiences for our Members and stakeholders and grow into the venue of choice in the South West, which will allow for substantial investment in cricket.”
BaxterStorey has dedicated nutritionists who will be working hand in hand with the Club’s Strength & Conditioning team. Bespoke offerings will also be delivered to each organisation that they work with to guarantee that they are delivering the best possible service and value.
SCCC Commercial Director, Caroline Herbert said: “Working in partnership, we will be looking to bring new ideas to life and provide a more diverse matchday offering than ever before.
“It’s not just about our matchdays. This partnership will see us providing catering excellence across all of our events.
“Over the coming months, we will be seeking feedback from our members and stakeholders to establish what our most valued customers want to see on the menu at the Cooper Associates County Ground.”
BaxterStorey Managing Director, Mack Allan added: “We’re excited to bring our innovation and creativity to Somerset County Cricket Club. We will be working with local suppliers and chef consultants to celebrate the best in south-west produce.
