Global service provider Atalian Servest has secured a further contract with Her Majesty’s Revenue and Customs (HMRC).
The company has been providing cleaning, catering and security at HMRC’s Newcastle office since May 2018. The latest deal, the fourth in 18 months, adds another 14 sites to the company’s existing partnership with the government body.
Services to the new sites will include cleaning, catering, reception, waste management, grounds maintenance, pest control, portering and mail. The company will deploy approximately 250 staff at the additional sites.
The new contract allows the service provider to play an essential part in helping HMRC to deliver its Locations Programme, which aims to bring HMRC employees together in 13 large, modern office hubs across Great Britain.
The regional centres will make use of the latest digital technology in order to provide a modern, comfortable working environment that makes it easier to collaborate and work flexibly, whilst also delivering significant savings to the taxpayer. The Locations Programme is one of the largest property transformation programmes in the UK.
