Principle Cleaning Services has appointed Arthur Toso as Sustainability Manager.
He joins the company after working as Environment and Sustainability Advisor for a facilities management firm, where he was responsible for environmental and waste management and sustainability performance tracking. Prior to this, he worked and studied in Brazil and the USA.
Toso is a graduate in Environmental Engineering, holds a Masters’ degree in Environmental Management and is a Practitioner Member of the Institute of Environmental Management & Assessment (IEMA).
He will lead Principle on its path towards Net Zero as well as support the company’s clients and on-site operations with sustainable initiatives. He will also have responsibility for Principle’s Environmental Management system.
Arthur Toso said: “I am happy to have joined Principle, there are lots of great things already happening regarding sustainability and more yet to come. Principle’s goal is the same as my ultimate goal, which is for Principle to be the most sustainable cleaning company there is. I am looking forward to our journey towards Net Zero.”

Some of the company’s current initiatives include eliminating single-use plastics, reducing overall plastic use through plastic-free packaging, chemical-free cleaning processes, water-saving and water-recycling systems and consumables from closed-loop recycling.
