Quora Consulting have revealed the line-up of this year’s Smartworking Summit.
The event, which will take place on the 26th September 2018 at the Capitol Suite in ExCeL, London will host a variety of c-suite speakers who will each offer their personal experience.
The speakers include Bruce Daisley, EVP EMEA Twitter and host of the business podcast ‘Eat Sleep Work Repeat’, David Landsman, CEO EMEA Tata Group and former ambassador to EU countries, and Betsy Bassis, Director General & COO, Defra.
Staged three times a year the Smartworking Summits are held in Spring, Summer, and Autumn and the 26th September Summit is the last event of this calendar year. The summits are attended by senior executives interested in the changing nature of work and the transformation of the workplace.
The afternoon of the Summit divides into round table discussions taking an inclusive format drawing on the collective experience to consider the burning issues that challenge organisations:
•Owning mindset change – Consider, if women took part in UK economy as much as men, it would add £600 billion GDP by 2025, equal to 0.7% extra GDP growth. This mindset change needs a new co-creating leadership style. Co-creative leadership drives the conditions for successful work performance. How can leaders become “co-creative?”
•Workplace technologies - pivotal to effective working, however, the rate of change challenges us to ask how well we understand their impact on the workplace ecoysystem?
•Workplace Evolutionaries – these are a coalescing of thought leaders & disruptive thinkers in the workplace arena to identify a higher strategic value from work. The community is formed of emboldened individuals to shape a formula for improved work interaction and integration.
John Blackwell, Chief Executive Officer of Quora Consulting, said: "We are very excited to be concluding this our 17th year of Smartworking Summits with such an exciting line up of speakers and participants. Every year we are delighted by the engagement of all who attend our Summits, the ground-breaking discussions based on the sharing of real experiences.”
