Lita Group Facilities Management (formerly known as CSG) has received a RoSPA Gold Health and Safety Award.
This will be the 22nd consecutive year the company has achieved such an accolade – the only UK-based FM and cleaning company to have done so. It therefore means the company has retained its Order of Distinction, originally awarded after the 15th consecutive Gold Award.
Organisations receiving a RoSPA Award are recognised as being world-leaders in health and safety practice. Every year, nearly 2,000 entrants vie to achieve the highest possible accolade in what is the UK’s longest-running health and safety industry awards.
Nick Rastelli - Sales and Commercial Director for Lita Group, said: “What a fantastic achievement, and one we are very proud of. To retain our Gold Award standing is one thing but to have retained our Order of Distinction for over seven years, is quite another. It’s just brilliant news.
This shows, that for us, health and safety are not merely words but a complete way of thinking and operating.
“A big thanks to all of our staff for putting safety first and foremost and to Sally Evans and our H&S team for ensuring compliance all year round.”
Julia Small, RoSPA’s head of qualifications, awards and events, said: “The RoSPA Awards scheme is the longest running of its kind in the UK, but it receives entries from organisations around the world, making it one of the most sought-after global accolades in health and safety.
“RoSPA wants every employee, wherever they are, to work safe in the knowledge that they will be going home unharmed and healthy at the end of every day.”
