Lorien Engineering Solutions is assisting with the construction of a new bottling plant for one of Europe’s oldest breweries.
NamysÅ‚ów Brewery makes beers including Zamkowe and NamysÅ‚ów Pils at its factory near Wroclaw and can trace its brewing history back to 1321. It combines its heritage in brewing with high quality equipment, modern production lines and advanced laboratory equipment.
Lorien is an engineering design and project management firm, based in Wroclaw, Poland, and Burton-on-Trent, UK, with a client portfolio that includes some of the best-known manufacturers in Poland and the UK.
The new NamysÅ‚ów Brewery building will contain a high capacity bottling line and additional warehousing facilities, offices and laboratories. Lorien has been commissioned to provide engineering services from concept through to detailed design for the building
The greenfield site, separated from the existing brewery by a public road, is near to the River Widawa. The surrounding area is subject to special environmental protection so Lorien’s engineers are undertaking careful planning to meet strict planning guidelines.
The project includes two new access points from the road and the construction of pipe bridges to supply utilities from the existing site. Initial concept studies started in late 2017 with Lorien’s work set to be completed in July.
