INCENTIVE ADDS SHREWSBURY TO RETAIL PORTFOLIO

Incentive FM has been awarded a three-year contract to provide a soft services solution at Shrewsbury Shopping Centres. Under the terms of the deal, Incentive FM will provide all security and cleaning at the three sites that make up Shrewsbury Shopping Centres – Pride Hill, Darwin and Riverside. The locations house 120 retail outlets totaling 500,000 sq ft in size.
The award of this contract follows a decision by managing agents Jones Lang Lasalle and the Centre Manager to consolidate the services required by three shopping centres under one specialist contractor. 34 members of staff will transfer to Incentive FM under TUPE and will undergo an intensive training programme designed to improve standards and drive down costs.

Kevin Lockwood, Centre Manager, said: “We are committed to helping enhance the shopping experience in the heart of this beautiful, historic town and attract visitors from further afield. As part of this, we wanted an FM specialist who could deliver a strong solution, enabling us to benefit from increased flexibility, higher service levels and total cost transparency. I have worked with Incentive FM in the past and am confident that they will deliver as promised.”
