Amulet awarded three-year contract with Millennium Point

The specialist security business of Churchill Group has signed a three-year contract to provide security services for Birmingham’s iconic Millennium Point.

The contract, which commenced on 1st April, will see Amulet provide a full suite of security services, including concierge, front-of-house duties and event management.

Millennium Point is a landmark building in Birmingham City Centre comprised of event spaces including a 350-capacity auditorium, flexible workspaces, meeting rooms and offices. It also houses tenants including Thinktank and Birmingham City University (BCU). The Millennium Point Charitable Trust invests in projects which support science, technology, engineering and maths (STEM) in the West Midlands and reinvests profits from its commercial activity.

Darren Read, Managing Director of Amulet commented: “Millennium Point is a unique multi-use venue and as such it needs the support of a security partner that understands the different levels of security to be provided. Amulet has the knowledge and experience to provide the broad range of services that Millennium Point requires. I am delighted to have this opportunity to develop and grow our service together.”

Linda Degg, Facilities Director at Millennium Point added: “Amulet presented a very strong tender which demonstrated enthusiasm and a deep understanding of our organisation. Its core values echo our own as a charitable trust, which supports science, technology, engineering and maths. We’re delighted to have them on board.”
