Incentive FM has secured a significant contract with joint owners M&G Real Estate and intu in conjunction with CBRE as Managing Agent, to deliver an integrated service solution at two of the UK’s largest shopping centres. The three-year deal, worth in the region of £20 million, adds Manchester Arndale and The Mall at Cribbs Causeway in Bristol to Incentive FM’s fast growing retail portfolio.
Under the terms of the agreement, Incentive FM will provide a wide range of cleaning, security, and guest services across both shopping centres. This will include both general and deep cleaning of common areas and back of house, waste management, landscaping, washroom services and pest control, as well as specialist high and low level window cleaning. In addition, the company will be providing 24/7 manned security patrols, and world class customer services to the guests.
Incentive FM Group was awarded the contract after demonstrating its ability to consistently deliver exceptional levels of service across large-scale facilities. Manchester Arndale is the third largest city-centre shopping mall in Europe with 41million people visiting the 1,400,000-square foot site each year. In addition, The Mall at Cribbs Causeway covers 994,981-square foot and has a yearly footfall of 12.1 million people. To ensure both facilities remain fully secure and clean, Incentive FM Group will be deploying a team of 300 staff across both sites, who have transferred via TUPE and will undergo additional training on an ongoing basis.
Incentive FM Group has worked closely with CBRE for many years on a number of contracts, most recently winning contracts to provide security services at The Gherkin and a range of FM services at CityPoint.
