Yvonne Taylor, Head of Cleaning for the OCS Group UK, Ireland and Middle East has been appointed to the Council of the British Institute of Cleaning Science (BICSc). Taking a seat as a Corporate member, Yvonne will join 11 other volunteers on the Council.
BICSc operates to raise standards of education and build awareness of the cleaning industry through professional standards and accredited training. Through the promotion of best practice, BICSc works to protect cleaning operatives, promote sustainability and provide clean and safe environments.
Having started her career as a cleaning operative/pot washer, over 23 years Yvonne has worked across the facilities management industry in a range of environments, from healthcare and education to nuclear power stations and food manufacturing facilities. She has a deep understanding of the cleaning industry and is a passionate advocate of industry best practice ensuring consistency of the profession.
