OCS has agreed a two-year contract extension with York Teaching Hospital NHS Foundation Trust. The contract, which has been held since 1st July 2012 will see OCS continue to deliver security services across the trust’s eight sites – an area that totals 3,400 square miles.
Petra Moss, Managing Director for OCS Healthcare and Education at OCS, said: “We are proud to secure this new agreement with the trust. It’s yet another milestone for OCS in healthcare, an area which continues to provide great success for the business. We are excited to continue working with the team at the trust.”
Darren Miller, Security and Car Parking Manager, at York Teaching Hospital NHS Foundation Trust added: “We have decided to extend the current contract with OCS because we feel OCS have the same values as ourselves when it comes to putting the patient at the centre of everything we do, always doing what we can to be helpful and respecting and valuing each other. We look forward to the next two years working closely with OCS in our efforts to protect our staff, patients, visitors and premises.”
York Teaching Hospital NHS Foundation Trust provides a comprehensive range of acute hospital and specialist healthcare services for approximately 800,000 people living in and around York, North Yorkshire, North East Yorkshire and Ryedale. The trust manages eight hospital sites, including some 1,100 beds, and has a workforce of nearly 9,000 staff.
