Kier wins £1m FM contract with The Office Group

A UK-wide deal
Kier, a leading property, residential, construction and services group, has been appointed by The Office Group (TOG), a leading provider of shared workspaces, to deliver technical services to 30 of its buildings in a two-year contract worth £1m.

Launched in 2013, TOG offers its clients workspaces for rent, including flexible offices and meeting rooms as well as drop-in lounges and co-working spaces. Today, it has over 15,000 members working throughout their business in the UK and a growing property portfolio across central London.

The contract will cover 28 sites in central London, one in Leeds and another in Bristol. Work will begin in February with a further two sites being added to the contract in March.

Kier Workplace Services, the FM arm of Kier Group, will provide mechanical, electrical and life safety systems. Operating across multiple sites, TOG will benefit from Kier’s experience in providing clients with bespoke delivery models that will increase efficiencies and reduce operational disruption to its properties.

Steve Davies, Managing Director of Kier Workplace Services said: “We are looking forward to delivering technical services to such an innovative and exciting company.

“TOG is known for offering a first-class service to its members and the highest level of quality, an approach that mirrors our own. We will support TOG to continue to provide its members with the very best service, allowing them to focus on delivering their core business.”

Alex Walters, Facilities Manager at TOG, said: “Following recent investment, 2018 is set to be a very exciting time at TOG. We believe that the contract we have awarded to Kier highlights our intent to provide a first class service to our members and ensure our buildings are maintained to the highest standards.”

Tim Winterflood, Asset Manager at TOG, said: “From the outset, Kier understood the brief and provided us with a fully comprehensive solution which will help to facilitate the significant growth we expect to achieve in the coming years.”
