BELFOR UK ACHIEVES NCZ SILVER FOR SUSTAINABILITY EXCELLENCE
BELFOR UK, a specialist disaster recovery firm, has secured a string of sustainability accreditations thanks to its efforts to reduce its environmental impact. 
 
The business has been awarded the Neutral Carbon Zone (NCZ) Silver Certification in recognition of the positive steps it has taken towards the management and measurement of sustainability throughout the organisation. 
 
NCZ is a comprehensive, data-driven, carbon management and certification platform, enabling companies like BELFOR UK to achieve carbon neutrality across all phases of their sustainability program. 
 
BELFOR UK has been diligently working towards this goal, and the Silver Certification from NCZ is testament to the positive strides made in reducing the company's environmental impact. 
 
Over the past 12-months, BELFOR UK has reduced emissions across a number of activities, including company cars, employee commuting, waste disposal, water consumption and fuel and energy-related activities. 
 
BELFOR UK has also attained the ISO 14001 accreditation, further demonstrating the company's commitment to positive environmental management. ISO 14001 is an internationally recognized standard that outlines the criteria for an effective environmental management system.
