Norse subsidiary, Wellingborough Norse, has extended a major educational sector cleaning contract.
St Thomas of Canterbury Catholic Academies Trust comprises four schools; St Thomas Becket, St Gregory’s, St Mary’s and The Good Shepherd primary school. Wellingborough Norse has been the incumbent cleaning contractor at the first three sites for the last three years and the Trust recently signed an additional two-year extension.
At the same time the Trust also added the Good Shepherd primary school to the agreement, worth over £400,000 over the two-year term, with all four sites to run to the end of the extended current contract.
Norse Business Development Manager George Jarvis said: “We are delighted to have been the cleaning contractor to St Thomas of Canterbury Catholic Academies Trust for the past three years and clearly, from the two year extension and additional site we will now be handling, they have been very pleased with the quality of service we have provided.
“Wellingborough Norse provides local coverage for all its cleaning contracts. This always ensures a seamless service and a flexible approach which, in this case, will enable all four site contracts to line up thereby easing administration for the client.”
Cleaning services account for an annual turnover of £750,000 at Wellingborough Norse, which also provides grounds maintenance, tree services, trade waste collection, cleansing, waste bin cleaning, sports construction, renovation and maintenance and facilities management.
