- Thoroughly wash your hands for at least 20 seconds before and after preparation
- Use a freshly cleaned mug and spoon
- Add a heaped teaspoon of coffee and use freshly boiled water
- Ensure the lid is closed after each use
- Wipe down surfaces and packaging
