Wates Living Space has been appointed to the Tower Hamlets Homes Block Refurbishment framework, a four-year pipeline of housing refurbishment works in East London.
Valued at approximately £40-50m over its duration, Tower Hamlets Homes’ framework will facilitate internal and external planned maintenance across the ALMO’s (Arms Length Management organisation) estate.
The contract will see the housing repairs and maintenance provider grow its portfolio across Greater London, and builds on Wates Living Space’s current work with Tower Hamlets Homes, which includes roof replacement and structural work at Dickinson House and external wall insulation removal and reinstallation at Brewster and Maltings House.
David Morgan, Managing Director of Wates Property Services, commented: “Our position on Tower Hamlets Homes’ framework once again lays testament to our market leading reputation as an expert service provider that is committed to delivering high quality work on behalf of our growing client base.
“As with all of our contracts, our work in Tower Hamlets will see us create many opportunities to engage with our neighbours through training and community initiatives to ensure we are a positive presence in the borough.”
